Reflection 5
I told myself that I would stay more motivated than last semester but I could not I lost it , mainly because of all the reading and essays that I have to do, it so stressful, and I tend to take short breaks that eventually become hours of time wasted into talking to people and playing football, it is not a total waste but that time would of gone towards my homework. My motivation for school right now is not high enough I feel that because now that we are on the second part of the semester everything is going go by quicker and most classes are going be easier and my motivation should be high, but it is not. I feel that I need a break from school because it is so stressful and I try not to think that because if I do give myself a break I am sure that I will not return to college. I need to work on my grades for my classes; on all of them even if I have a passing grade because there is always something that can be done to get a higher grade. In order to get my grades higher I need to stop talking to my friends on weekdays until the weekends if I do not have homework and football as well. I need to get motivate that the semester is almost over and that summer is near but more importantly that I stay on top of things to do the best I can in my classes and keep thinking in a positive way and not negatively because in doing so one has already fail, and with that I think that I would be able to raise both my motivation and grades.

Reflection #4
Along the road, I've set a quantity of goals ,some more important than the rest. The long term goal I have set is to attain the best education i can possibly get.A mid term goal I have set for myself is to get back in shape.Keeping track of my chores around the house is my short term goal.
March 13,2012
Dear Samuel,
My long term goal has been a struggle but I have done all that is in my hands to attain what I have up to today. My classes have been difficult at times but the experience is one and only.I knew from the start that education was going to have its high and low points throughout.I just didn't expect them to come so quick. I'm trying my hardest on all of the work by doing my homework as soon as i get home and so far, I am liking the results of how these classes have elevated my education.
The mid term goal i set myself is not paying off as much as i would like. I try to do exercises that help my goal be more attainable, but it seems that all the work put into it have been for no reason. I have altered my eating habits to a more healthier diet, but one again, this doesn't make a change.
Lastly, is my third and final goal, which is keeping track of my household chores . I have seen a tremendous change in the manner i do my chores. Since i have made myself a schedule on what and when to do certain tasks, i have kept things tidy and clean.
Sincerely, Hernan

Reflection 3
The plans that I made last week were to read chapters four to six in the psychology book, finish my essay for english 100 and go to french tutoring. I did not follow all the plans I wanted to do, for example i did not read the chapters for my psychology class. I only read the notes and went to tutoring for it, but did not read the chapters like I wanted to. When I read my notes I used the SQR3 method to help me retain more information when I read, in a way it was successful in the beginning but not so much towards the end of my studying. It was not so successful because I need to read the chapters to understand the missing parts that are not mention on my notes and not just the notes. My other plans did go well I finish essay even though I took a long time and went to tutoring for french. Now for the following week I would need to really try hard and read the chapters in the psychology book but the following week they will be more chapters. There are many adjustments I need to make from last week to the next so I can be more successful in doing my readings and homework. I would need to be more efficient with my time and come up with better studying skill that will help me in remembering what I read and do not forget as much as I would.
