Reflection 3

The plans that I made last week were to read chapters four to six in the psychology book, finish my essay for english 100 and go to french tutoring. I did not follow all the plans I wanted to do, for example i did not read the chapters for my psychology class. I only read the notes and went to tutoring for it, but did not read the chapters like I wanted to. When I read my notes I used the SQR3 method to help me retain more information when I read, in a way it was successful in the beginning but not so much towards the end of my studying. It was not so successful because I need to read the chapters to understand the missing parts that are not mention on my notes and not just the notes. My other plans did go well I finish essay even though I took a long time and went to tutoring for french. Now for the following week I would need to really try hard and read the chapters in the psychology book but the following week they will be more chapters. There are many adjustments I need to make from last week to the next so I can be more successful in doing my readings and homework. I would need to be more efficient with my time and come up with better studying skill that will help me in remembering what I read and do not forget as much as I would.

Reflection 2

Not remembering what had happen minutes before scared me, I woke up not knowing what had happen, I had gotten a concussion. This event is what I went through a couple years ago, and made me realize how wonderful life can be if it is seen from a positive view. I woke up with a blurry vision, a bit shaky and very weak. An event that I went through was getting a concussion while playing football, it was not that serious which was good. Getting a concussion changed the way I viewed life because It made me realized that in any moment it could be your last so we gotta enjoy life with the ones we love. This event made me realize that I should appreciate life a bit more and that I was lucky that i did not get seriously injury like other athletes or people do like for example, in car accidents or something that lose a body part or something really bad they go in comma for months, years, or all their lives. I was lucky that had only gotten a concussion and nothing worst, but the fright that I had gotten was big I was scared of putting back on my helmet days later after the concussion worn off and continue playing but I manage to get rid of my fright and go back and play. It changed my view in life in a positive way to enjoy life with the ones you love, friends and family and those surrounding you.

The Things They Carried

I carry a multitude of things with me throughout my journey. The thing i carry with me all the time is the responsibility. I utilize this to do my homework and also to do well in school because without it i would not be able to set myself goals and achieve them, considering the fact that i would not have a mindset concerning my schoolwork.Motivation is also another thing i use each and every day.The motivation to do my best to succeed in what I want to accomplish in life is something so very crucial to me. My intention in life is to do something that pleases me, with no boundaries being put on to prohibit me from achieving what i desire to attain in the future. I carry with me the fear to returning to being my old self , back when everything i did was a mistake. I look back and regret getting in trouble for so many things that were truly avoidable. I try committing less faults along the road. I tend to really try doing my best in what i do dealing with school and everything else outside my education. I think all the things I've carried throughout all my rough years have made me gain enough experience to take any challenges ahead and have the benefit to have a better outcome.Without commitment, responsibility, and motivation i would be lost. Every experience one goes through makes a person stronger,i believe, and creates a whole new thought and image in one's mind about their future.
